Adaptive Crossroads was created from more than a decade of hands-on experience working directly with individuals with physical and developmental disabilities and seniors.
For over 15 years, I have coached, trained, and supported individuals through Special Olympics, Adaptive Physical Fitness, and community-based programs. I have worked side by side with athletes, families, caregivers, and support teams — not from behind a desk, but on the gym floor, in programs, and in real-life environments where growth actually happens.
Through this work, I have seen both the incredible potential individuals have and the serious gaps that still exist in long-term support, access, and independence-focused programming.
Why I Started Adaptive Crossroads
Over the years, one pattern has become very clear:
Families are overwhelmed.
Services are fragmented.
Individuals age out of programs.
Long-term independence support is limited.
Adaptive Crossroads was created to change that.
This organization exists because I have personally watched individuals lose access to structure, routine, physical wellness, and social connection simply because systems were not built to support lifelong growth.
Adaptive Crossroads is my commitment to building something better — a place where individuals can continue developing skills, building strength, and moving forward at every stage of life.
Leadership Philosophy
I believe independence is not a finish line — it is a process.
It is built through consistent support, physical readiness, life skills, structure, and opportunity. Adaptive Crossroads is designed to meet people where they are and walk alongside them as they grow.
Building A Better Tomorrow
Adaptive Crossroads is not just an organization to me — it is the next step in a lifelong commitment to building opportunity, dignity, and independence for individuals who deserve more.
This mission is personal.
This community matters.
And together, we can build something that lasts.
